Really sore throat going on here off to the ole doc to get a bit of medication we just came back from London Peterborough Collingwood with another band 74 openong for us the only problem was transportation but thats all changing we have just got under way in the purchase of our van which we are pumped about a little more comfort on the road is always welcome.

So yeah bunch of radioplay and some good reviews has us all kinda stoked over here however i personally would love to get in and do some recording ive written what i think are some pretty tidy songs....the college radio stations are really digging us i think i already said that which is cool our cd is slated to be in stores in the U.K. Sept 19th and here in Canada Sept 26 but as you know its available here online by clicking the cd baby or i tunes link on our myspace account.

I beleive i did an interview for a cover story yesterday for "Echo" magazine i think went well the interviewer was a pretty cool dude.

heres a poem/song

the inside of you

stop trying so hard and let it happen
the kit that you got didn't have a map in
a pile of salt and patience pills
for getting through the days
pushing rocks up hills
you can come in just leave the light on
the last couple nights really had youre cry on

its getting real close you need a van
a spiritual wave crashing in with a plan

a constant love a constant pleasure
buried in your eyes was my only treasure
i remember when you used to smile
thinking to myself shes so good at life
look at all this you got for that
somehow all this kinda makes you flat

and you know whats good and you know whats right
but youre gonna be on t.v. tonight

is the center of you
asking questions like me
like who should i love
who am i supposed to be
cause all the people you meet have a lesson to teach
and this shows us that were not so sure on our feet

and the wind it always blows
but everthing is a stones throw away
and sometmes maybe thats all you need to say

so sit on youre ledge and cry cause you cant stop
and you cant say goodbye
whats this then?

from the stream......

just quickly now i want to draw your attention to something we have just got involved with...imagine youre niece or nephew son or daughter god children cousin any child that you love imagine them laughing and playing there smiling faces glowing...yeah hold onto that picture doesnt it make you feel good? It should i feel great everytime i picture my neices and my nephew....but hold on a second picture this for a second those same kids starving severely undedrweight barely enough energy to cry....alone......living in conditions you wouldnt wish on your worst enemy .....well sadly the reality is, is that literally millions of children live on these conditions some orphaned some working 10 hour days at the age of 5 years old to help thier families put food on the table.....to me it makes me sick to think of one of my own having to live like this especially when we can help which is exactly what i have done iin sponsoring a child myself and which is what you can do and believe me it will help whether it be giving the families the knowledge to become self sufficient to providing medicine building schools and hospitals just giving these kids a chance...its pretty easy to shake this off and put it into the "not my problem" pile and pretend like this doesnt happen but listen to your conscience it will tell what to do it always does if you listen to it and its so fucking easy you can become a child sponsor for around a dollar a day i mean shit chuck it onto your credit card you wont notice 30-35 bucks a month and this will give you gratification of knowiing that you are keeping a child alive doing the right thing lifes to short you know start making a difference and i promise you you will feel better about yourself and you will feel your contribution at work good karma is catching get some yourself change a life!

please email me directly if you would like to sponsor a child at kevin@theduneslive.com through Worldvision or for more info got to worldvision.ca
