Wow been a very busy past week i was getting ready for my "Pullie Project" show @ the cameron house and our sneaky dees show all in the same night...needless to say i was a little exhausted before the shows.....the cameron house show was so much fun i played a seven song set in which i had chris and alistar sit in for the last four songs in which we sorted out some simple but beautiful arrangements.......it was crazy full in there.... the cameron house is quite small to begin with i think the capcity is 80 people or something like that but what a great venue small stage theatre seating great sound and lighting...anyway the place was at capacity and standing room only when i hit the stage ..it was weird i was kinda nervous probably because up until i went on stage i didnt have a plan no setlist nothing and the place was full...i think it also had a lot to do with the stripped down nature of the night no one really to hide behind.....kicked off the show with "pass me the wine" then moved into "calling all cars" the stripped down version...i really feel comfortable playing alone up there it feels very natural and words just seem to flow from my lips inbetween songs its alot more honest than the big shows or maybe not but very different for sure...whats great about these shows is that its so quiet in there and people are listening to the words.....finished off calling all cars played a short number called " a thousand schizophrenics" then luck and chris joined me we played "falling" a new song called "all those lights a flashing" which came off quite well it was pretty funny to cause chris's cell went off right near the end of it so what does he do he whips out into the audience...priceless.....i finished off the set with "we need a song" a song that is fast becoming my most requested...so all in all it was fantastic night great audience great vibe...oh and i would first like to thank all those who came out to support me and also apologize to those who did not get in i did not know it would fill up that fast
so after that we stuck around to listen to karen kosowski who is so good shes the biggest star you havent heard of yet check her out @ myspace.com/karenkosowski she writes beautiful songs ...we had to take about halfway through the set to get on over to sneaky dees where we rocked out hard no set list just off the cuff but fluid as i have been saying theres nothing to think about we are just doing and its coming so naturally this "flow" thanks to all who came out to this show aswell alot more people did the double than we thought would so thanks!
