holy shit im tired!
3 shows 4 days lots of beer cigarettes and carrying on...we kicked off our leg of the budweiser true music tour at lees palace thursday night to a good sized crowd bud girls and all, red carpet and all the trimmings we had initially thought we were playing second and then ended up headlining all good we played one our looser sets overall still tweeking our on stage amp monitoring but overall the crowd was receptive and well...drunk! god love them! many a beer was consumed and alot of carrying on till the wee hours of the morning.
friday pulled myself out of bed late only to make it to the couch and then lees palace by 7pm to pick up my amp and alistairs but lees wasnt open yet which led to pints at the future cafe which led to more pints and more pints as friends showed up and then as 4am rolled up i decided to pull the plug based on the knowledge i had that i was to be at work in just 3 hours.......so lets just say saturday sucked! toughed it though wouldnt have been so bad if i could have went to bed afterwards but show #2 of the bud tour was on in hamilton......we rolled into hamilton around 8pm the location "the underground" to be met by an all ages punk show just finshing seems punk fashion is in full form in the "hammer"first thoughts from the team were "what the fuck have we got ourselves into" turns out that show ended at 9:30 and our show kicked off at 11 to a different crowd (if you were there you know) we played well.... effortlessly really low pressure gig small but appreciative crowd the band that followed "krome" was killer we hung with the bud gals and people then dont know if anyone knows who kazzer is the rock rap one hit guy had some success is signed with universal seemed like a good guy if you see me ask me the story about the bud girl kazzer story (pretty funny)
today played the run toronto show at centre island fucking cool! great way to spend the day huge stage vip section unlimited beer food and people crowd was at least 1000 maybe 2 we arrived early by water taxi at 2ish and didnt go on until 6:30 and the beer was free so........anyhow we had a good set corraled some new fans and heard some other really good bands that we will probably b playing with in the future.........overall a great few days a bit of detox is the plan as we get set 4 london windsor, then north by northeast
