crime! yes crime....been a victim of city crime this week actually it all happened in a span of 6 hours first off i rode my bike to a coffee shop on bloor monday night with my new computer to use the interweb (got a cool new mac great for writing and recording thats another story)locked the ol bike up outside got pretty immersed in updating web site stuff etc msn blah blah blah....3 hours passes i walk out and no bike!bastards! ho hum i walk home and then go to a band meeting a 7 this was sort off the first official meeting with our new management guys and ran late i get a phone call round 11:30 from my roommate turns out he was tipped off by our downstairs neighbour that she caught a glimpse of somebody climbing over her balcony enroute to our floor now you got to understand we live on the 4th floor anyhow my roommate confronted this guy who from all accounts shit himself aswell jumped over the balcony to the one below then to the second floor and then to the back alley and gone....cops were called the whole nine and they put an apb out for spiderman........in my area they will steal anything to get crack its fucking scary moral of the story stay off the crack kids
was out last nite down at the mod club checking out a few artists got there just @the end of justin rutledge's set from all accounts it was really good......the person i was there to see this girl serena ryder a really talented singer songwriter from around here somewhere i think shes on the universal label...she was very impressive a really strong voice and a useful guitar player aswell....the place was rammed with industry folk and big wigs scmoozing is not really my thing but i did meet some nice people from some labels and a the producer of justin rutledge 's record very nice guy after a few cocktails we went over to the orbit room which is always a fine choice especially on wednesday nights serena and her sort of entourage popped in 4 some bevvies we got to chatting for awhile pretty cool chick and hey if your reading this serena have fun in wakefield.....this was one of those never ending nights last stop was our friend scottys house for a wee party which was cool we watched a tape of scotty playing the sax for paul anka on the david letterman show how cool is that? missed work today oh boy im poor supposed to meet a friend toniight for some drinks not sure if i can make it yet but then again it might be fun...thats all for today folks....take it easy but still take it........pullie
