Well last night was well......spectacular! We really hit the nail on the head line wise if attendance is an indicator The Rivoli was at capacity @ 10pm and remained that way until well after the last note was played. So thanks to all of ya'll who came out and made our night one of the most memorable to date. Pauls first gig as our new drummer was highly successful he really firms things up back there giving us a solid foundation on which to kill from.

USS what can i say except brilliant! Always the showman he left peoples mouths gaping in awe as usual i would say he's my favourite artist right now hes the real deal singer/songwriter performer the full package and hopefully we will lucky enough to play more shows with him.....also a big thanks to Marathon for killing it last night aswell smooth melodys and really tight playing great to see an hear.

Theres a commercial for Rogers something or other right now that has a song on it that people swear sounds just like our song "let it go" so ive been watching tv and i saw it and i will be damned its pretty close at least the chorus or what im guessing is the chorus it is in our song....which goes"come on come on come on come on come on let it go" and repeat theres says just the same thing almost the same tempo and all but without the let it go part they say something else.....hmmm so what to do about this.....i say we do nothing there maybe a similarity there but fuck our songs our song and theirs is theirs however i dont know who they are and i dont care cause im sure front to back our song is better and we aint changing it or cease to play it.

Pumped 4 the Rivoli show worked out a tidy set list tonight that is to our liking...again we have Chris on bass and Paul now on drums so its a different band and we havent had all that long to get this together but somehow through the magic of the universe it feels pretty damn good....we really gelled quickly especially paul...krieky hes only had a short time to get his shit together but he did..pretty impressive.

Yeah so check thursdays Toronto Star entertainment section they will be running something on us i did an interview with Ben Rayner today...nice guy very chilled interview ok then i think im outta here

uh..yeah..im back been very busy sorting out "dunes" affairs...and things are looking up as you may or may not of known were going through a few changes but things seem to be working themselves out quite nicely as i guess they usually do sometimes things happen that you have to deal with...no point in letting these things go overlooked for too long which was the case..... change sometimes is scary but were all doing our best and we make the decisions we think are best at the time....and things are looking good..... a bit touch and go for a wee while thats just cause i freak out when things are not for the lack of a better expression "in their right place" so comfort zone breached small freak out and now were good.....we have found a most kick ass drummer paul barry since todds departure who has kinda walked in here and picked up everything flawlessly which has been amazing true pro and also has the same ideas in terms of writing direction and arrangement which is key and we are already working out some ideas that i brought in and they are well....exciting as.......just wait and see

Big show thursday @ the rivoli playing with marathon and the ubiquitous synergy seeker.... yeas thats right looking forward to it we have Chris back on bass for awhile....wanna just say thanks to adam koch who played with us through a critical period its always difficult to part ways especially with a friend but we think this is the right move for our future as we move ahead.

The U.K. looks as if its a go...were looking at dates in april which is awesome we really think thats a place where we may be quite well recieved and were pumped about it.

Got a meeting tommorow on the direction of the "calling all cars" video with the director dont know who it is yet but our management seems to be on the ball in this department so a bunch of shows coming up aswell fashion rocks show will be killer never played the phoenix before so this is very cool ok im out more to come

holy fuck! its cold in here in Canada going down to -35 tonight....no shit...yeah thats cold......read a great little book last week by kurt vonnegut one of my favourite writers i highly recommend "breakfast of champions"(among others slaughter house five, galapgos etc) my favourite books are usually the ones ive just read so i guess this ones my favourite great candy for the brain found myself laughing out loud at times such brilliant writing harsh at times always enlightening...sort of free formed writing with the narrater coming in and out of the story hard for me to describe well......just check it....funny thing remember the movie back to school...with rodney dangerfield where he does the triple lutz in the diving championships which sum 41 used as a video concept for "in to deep"? well in that movie rodney gets an assignment in his english class where he has to read a vonnegut book and do a report on it.....now cause he plays a really rich guy and hes kinda lazy he actually gets a hold of vonnegut and pays him to do a book report on one of his own books the funny thing here is that vonnegut only gets a c+.
