bronchitis day 3
woke up this morning weezing like a mofo, not good we rehearsed last night my plan was not to sing but i started anyway, the voice isnt quite the same at the moment due to restrictions on airintake and lung capacity problems, 2 days till the show and we want to impress im just popping pills getting my doses of vitamin c and water and what else can i do? quit smoking? well im glad u asked that i today have given this very serious thought not breathing is not fun and i hear is life threatening, the thing with quitting smoking is, is that u got to want to and im not sure i do yet i know i must so ok im trying not to smoke of course its much easier when your sick cause smokes taste shite regardless its 12:30 and i havent smoked yet, im not gonna say im quitting yet i have to be honest with you, anyhoo failing lung failure it will be a good show this may be the greatest night of your life so come and check it out at the mod club the possibilities are endless and so is they're supply of jagermeister.

just get me into the studio is what i say, we have these songs ready to go and i am admittedly very impatient, i mean with rio grande recorded and sounding they way we like it, i want to move forward matt from the hollow is a great engineer and i believe understands the sound that we are looking for, the weekend was realy good had a late one on saturday night was at the legendary duchess of markham my favourite pub washed back many pints and the odd jagermeister a good time was had by all, for this evening i would love to get down to the studio t record the bed tracks on a few songs, must apologize to our drummer matt for my my impatience earlier on the phone sorry dude but i want progress as i know that you do aswell but patience is not one of my virtues at the moment, saw the mmvas last night and set a goal with myself to make that happen for us next year, the album that we are working on is going to rock yes it is we are very proud of these songs and think that from front to back it will be an audio experience not to be missed!ok im counting to ten slowly
i will talk again later today bye for now

hey now, computers! for me are tough, so after a week i am once again online, we have been in the studio finished one song towards our first full album and we are very hasppy about it, before i go any further whoever reads these journals should always check our drummer matts because he is the technology guy of the band he always has updates photos he actually also has our new song on there so if you wanna listen check it out and he has a radio interview that i did with ckcu up in ottawa (ooohhh look at me radio interviews) yes it is true i enjoyed and i dont think i sounded to stupid sort of just shot from the heart , always a good way to go.

right so the zaphod show was cool me dana and matt rented a car and left monday afternoon had some good discussions on the direction of future shows like film sort of back drops and that kind of thing ottawa is pretty nice little town very picturesque and political yada yada yada, we made friends with adrienne pierce a singer songwriter out of b.c. really cool girl and her guitarist who i think is marty if i have that wrong im sorry , they played a great set she is a great writer and performer u can check her out a t her site her name .com
so we started the set the lights were really hot and we felt good bout half way through my guitar went out of tune and i panicked it was to the intro to the easiest but jay heard that and picked my slack in the verses i dont play so i was singing and trying to tune my guitar at the same time but my tuner was going haywire hey isnt haywire a cheese hairband from the eighties anyhow i left good enough alone and we preceeded to summit rock energy mountain and reach the peak with a blistering performance of do it all the time (yeah) we got alot of positive feedback after the show which was cool
i would like to thank our fans who travelled up from toronto to check us out thats so cool guys chris jordan mike and your friend thanks for filming the show aswell oh yeah and jorgie (duneheads)the rest of the night was spent with jaggermeister and looking for jorgie at the barefax yeah very fun
so in the words of the great david mccartney "take care comb your hair"
