you seen this face book stuff? just joined the stupid thing like i dont spend enoughtime checking and replying to myspace oh well im trying to keep my finger on the pulse.....or maybe not........cold cold cold outside......saw a silent seymour show sat at lees fucking brilliant i mean fucking brilliant just go and see for yourself......so well cool thing just happened to us we have been chosen by the u.k. magazine "classic rock" as one of 15 bands to watch out for in 2007 and we got put on the compilation album that comes with the magazine....."classic rock" magazine can be picked up at your better book stores everywhere chapters and places like these...note that its the february edition....so fuck what can we say but thats pretty fucking cool...i remember doing the interview to from our office and i asked the guy if he'd ever been to toronto and he replied in a slow ive did alot of drugs in the 60s 70s ish english accent way "well i was actually touring with david bowie doing a story on him and we were on our way to l.a. after toronto......." what? you kidding me? that guy was the coolest....so tell your friends pick up a copy and remember to call out to the universe as often as you can!

Did that last blog make any sense? no? no i dont think it did thats what i do i write quickley and have all these i deas in my head and really never ever proof read use capitals you know that sort of thing......so lets take stock new year this is good our vids on much music (please vote for us on our my space and also go to much more music top ten and click on our name there to that would be awesome and please do this 3 ro 400 times daily....yeah im serious) Dont know if y'all know that our beloved Todd is gonna be a daddy soon (hooray!) so if you see him show him some love...this is obviously gonna change his life immensely in alot of ways one of which is contributions and time with us so lets just say Todds going to help us out on the next record with the songs we worked out and stuff and into the transition as we find a guy to fill his big shoes he will be missed...its a weird thing we'll see how it plays out.

So we did a live interview and session at xm satellite radio "the verge" xm 52 back a few months ago and being the scatterbrain that i tend to be forgot to inform anyone that it aired last week 3 times (stupid!) good new is we have a copy of it we played 5 songs in the set and we were interviewed by the lovely Kim Hughes inbetween it really sounds good to who knew? Yeah really impressed with the way we performed it appears to me were pretty fucking tight were gonna have these available for a 5 bucks or so at shows check it out theres also the new song (previously unrecorded) Cacophonic lullaby/never date an actor on there aswell which is one of our new favorites.

Im so fucking squirlly these days i need to play shows but at the same time the break is good as we do have a few things to take care of behind the scenes.

oh...sorry just talking to myself again picked up an external harddrive for my computer yesterday for recording purposes only ...very excitinig and daunting...recording can and usually is well stressful for me anyway i get what ive coined "studio ear" where no matter what happens i think i can do better..this can be highly frustrating i also actually start hearing things that nobody else can sometimes too...weird!
however all of this is ok next dunes show feb 22nd @ the rivoli its gonna be a cracker may be seeing some new faces in our line up aswell as things change and people grow and we try to do whats best but never fear ladies and gentleman everything is alright.
so right we have made one album yes doesnt seem very productive does it?(oh shit thats not true we also made the inception?bits and pieces one didnt we ...im gonna post a few of those oldies up for down load i guess they are rarities) well it wouldnt to me if i were you.....that being said its not as if were not ready or dont want to keep moving its more just a timing thing..but you know what fuck that!its time for a few new ones for you guys...in a perfect world we would have unlimited studio time and just go in and out as we pleased if this were the case i think we would probably be on our third album right now however this is not the case so were not but its time for an e.p.
of course im not blaming the label for any of this but as an artist i need to create, make my something out of nothing and hold it in my hands its what i do...see thats the problem when arts meets commerce...to me a a good artist is judged as much on the quantity in regards to creativity as quality so it frustrates the fuck out of me not to be able to make this happen....but know i will with some home recording some dunes stuff and some pullie project ondule!

Happy new year! yip new year new challenges all good...things are and have been shakin up a bit over the holidays and there are going to be some changes with us unfortunately but hey you got to keep moving and try to control the controllables i mean thats all we can do right? otherwise you just make yourself mental tryiing to fix and appease everyone all the time..thats i guess is my new years res just do my best and try not to take things personally and a few more things thers actually a good book to read that a good friend gave to me about a year ago when i was well.....fucked up called the "four agreements" well worth a read especially at the start of the new year and use it like a bit of a handbook to keep you sane....."my life is always on the mend" theres always something that seems to pop up when you least expect so i guess you just get used to that fact and press on...dont get me wrong i consider myself really really lucky i think i have my friends a nd fam to thank for that...the cool part about life is that no matter how shitty it gets sometimes you can always start to fix it at anytime.

Gladstone show was amazing great crowd excellent energy and shortwave and debaser blew the place up check them out in our myspace "top friends" section.

fuck! i really want to get into the studio and do some demoing very very soon were sitting on some of what we think is our best material right now im also going a bit squirrely over the fact that my side project "the pullie project" has'nt seen much attention of late due to us being so busy which is going to change this year im gonna give it some love over the next month or so and see if i can get in the studio to get at least the beds of some of these songs down...its really mellow stuff wordy and full and i cant wait to show you.

so have a great new year and remember your thoughts shape it so try to concentrate on the good ones and in time they should appear!
